May, 2013 Business of the Month:
Country Elm Frame Gallery
Owner, Edwina Matson established Country Elm Frame Gallery in the basement of her home in 1991. The shop has been located in the heart of North Belle Vernon at 510 Broad Avenue for the last several years, where she and husband Rick share office space.
Country Elm is a full service picture frame shop, carrying over 1200 frame corners which consist of woods and metals for custom frame pieces. In addition to custom frames, Country Elm also has ready-made frames and photo frames to choose from.
There are many varieties of glass to select from to complete the custom frame work, ranging from premium clear, reflection control to museum glass. The choice depends on what type of article is being framed, whether it has sentimental value or to archive and where it will be hanging on your wall.
“I always enjoy the challenge to see what customers bring in to my shop to have framed. I love the creative process and working with the customer to develop a framed piece of art that they will cherish. I frame anything from prints, posters diplomas, photographs, needlework, sport jerseys, multi-opening memorabilia, collectibles, keepsakes and shadow boxes. Let’s have fun and see what you might like to have custom framed.”
The shop hours are Monday through Friday, 10am to 5:30pm, evenings and weekends by appointment. For more information, please stop by and visit or call 724-929-8807.
